York ‘Boots, Beers & Ballgowns’ Ball

Saturday 19th September 2026

On Saturday 19th September, AgVocateWA hosted the Boots, Beers & Ballgowns Ball at White Gum Farm in York, bringing together around 50 young people from across the Wheatbelt and wider agricultural community.

The evening was a fantastic celebration of rural connections, featuring great food, live music from The Freight Train Trio, plenty of dancing and the opportunity for attendees to catch up with old friends while making new connections. It was wonderful to see people travelling from across regional Western Australia to enjoy a memorable night in York and celebrate the people who make our agricultural industry so vibrant.

Thanks to the generous support of our sponsors and prize donors, the event was a huge success. Their contributions helped create an unforgettable evening and highlighted the strong community spirit that exists within the agricultural sector.

As a volunteer-run organisation, AgVocateWA is incredibly grateful for the ongoing support of businesses, individuals and rural communities who help us create opportunities for young people in agriculture to connect, network and build lasting friendships.

A huge thank you to everyone who attended, supported and contributed to the event. The atmosphere throughout the night was electric, and it was clear that plenty of memories were made on and off the dance floor. We look forward to seeing you at the next AgVocateWA event! 🎉🤠🍻✨🌾
