Beverley ‘Ag After Dark’ Sundowner & Quiz Night

Saturday 3rd October 2026

On Saturday 3rd October, AgVocateWA in collaboration with GrainGrowers, hosted the ‘Ag After Dark’ Sundowner & Quiz Night in Beverley, bringing together around 35 young people and industry supporters from across the Wheatbelt and surrounding regions.

The evening kicked off with a sundowner and industry update from GrainGrowers, providing attendees with the opportunity to hear about key industry priorities while networking with fellow farmers, agricultural professionals and community members. As the quiz got underway, the competition quickly heated up, with teams battling it out for bragging rights and a range of fantastic prizes. The night's standout prizes, including the chance to win one tonne of grain of the winner's choice both from Intergrain and AGT, brought out plenty of competitive spirit and kept everyone guessing right until the final rounds.

Thanks to the generous support of GrainGrowers, our sponsors and prize donors, the event was a great success. Their contributions helped create an enjoyable evening that showcased the strong sense of community and connection that exists throughout regional Western Australia.

As a volunteer-run organisation, AgVocateWA is incredibly grateful for the ongoing support of businesses, individuals and rural communities who help us create opportunities for young people in agriculture to connect, network and build lasting relationships.

A huge thank you to everyone who attended, supported and contributed to the evening. From the friendly rivalry around the quiz tables to the excitement of the grain giveaways, it was a fantastic night and a great example of what can be achieved when industry and community come together. 🌾🍻🧠🎉
