The AgVocateWA 2025 Annual Forum, themed “Changes in Agriculture,” brought together young agricultural professionals, growers, industry representatives and community members to explore the evolving landscape of the agricultural sector. The forum provided valuable insights into emerging technologies, market trends, sustainability, workforce development and the future challenges and opportunities facing regional agriculture. Through a combination of expert presentations, panel discussions and networking opportunities, attendees were encouraged to share ideas, build connections and develop a greater understanding of the innovations shaping the future of the industry. The event reinforced AgVocateWA’s commitment to supporting the next generation of agricultural leaders and fostering meaningful conversations about the future of agriculture in Western Australia.

With Hon. Mia Davies delivering the opening address, topics included mental health, livestock & grain markets, climate outlooks, renewables and insurance. A highlight for many attendees was our ‘social media panel’, which featured influencers Jack Tossol, Tara Farms, Josh & Steph Borowski and Jack Cresswell.

After the lunch break, WA Next Generation had us all up and about for their Young Farmer Challenge.

The day was concluded with a networking sundowner held in the local town of Northam, Western Australia.
